Blüthner is an old established piano brand. A family company, founded in 1853 in Leipzig, Germany.
Known for both a warm and a clear tone Blüthner pianos were favored by classical greats such as Mahler, Debussy and Rachmaninov.
Visually, the older instruments have stunning details like the music stand and the feet of the grand piano.
The piano on the Dolcetti recordings is owned by Ivo Verschoor at Huis Midwoud, The Netherlands
